(ICVE) The International Certified Vocational Evaluator (ICVE) credential is now available. We are currently in the Grandfathering phase of the ICVE for persons who have a CVE (Certified Vocational Evaluator) credential in good standing or held a CVE within the past 5 years with continuing education credits. The Grandfathering phase will end December 30, 2020.

Additionally, The College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP) is in the final editing process for the ICVE exam and ICVE Exam Study Guide. Eligibility criteria are based on experience and/or formal education, passing of the examination, and review of two written reports. The ICVE exam will be available in the Fall of 2020. Due to COVID-19 the exam has been moved on-line with virtual proctoring so applicants can sit the exam remotely.
For those who are interested in sitting for the exam, please forward a CV (Curriculum Vitae) to for verification of eligibility.

An expedited application process will be available for those persons who currently hold a PVE, CRC, ABVE and IPEC credential in good standing. Copies of those credentials should be attached along with your CV. A full application process will be required for those who do not hold the above-mentioned credentials. Educational documentation will be required.

The exam will be available online with online proctoring in Winter 2020.

Your professional College, in light of recent medical and government reports and directives concerning COVID-19, suggests that you use your professional judgement and that of your employer to determine if face to face client contact is necessary at this time. This is for the equal protection of your client (public) and yourself in the delivery of professional services. Please read the available literature which is easily accessed through the many provincial, federal government and health authority websites, so you are familiar with COVID-19 and the ways and means to protect yourself and others. The College recognizes that online and/or teleconference methods of communication with your clients/claimants are available and we encourage you to consider using such methods if appropriate. Please follow your professional and employer’s protocols surrounding this pandemic. We wish you and your clients good health during this challenging situation.
