The Grandfathering phase will end July 31, 2021.
The College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP) is pleased to announce the ICVE online examination and ICVE Exam Study Guide is now available. Click here for the ICVE Study Guide. Eligibility criteria are based on experience and/or formal education, passing of the examination, and review of two written reports.

An expedited application process will be available for those persons who currently hold a PVE, CRC, ABVE and IPEC credential in good standing. Copies of those credentials should be attached along with your CV. A full application process will be required for those who do not hold the above-mentioned credentials. Educational documentation will be required.

The Government of Canada has provided guidance on the prioritization of COVID-19 vaccine eligibility here:
Guidance on prioritization of initial doses of COVID-19 Vaccine(s)
Availability of vaccination dates will vary depending on which province you practice in and the College has no control over this availability. You are encouraged to follow-up with your local Public Health Unit which will provide updated information as it becomes available. For example, the Ontario government has set out their latest COVID-19 Guidance for Prioritizing Health Care Workers for COVID-19 Vaccination on February 9, 2021. This guidance discusses the prioritization of health professionals as defined by the Ministry of Health.
In Ontario, you can find your local Public Health Unit here: Ontario Public Health Unit Locator.

Your professional College, in light of recent medical and government reports and directives concerning COVID-19, suggests that you use your professional judgement and that of your employer to determine if face to face client contact is necessary at this time. This is for the equal protection of your client (public) and yourself in the delivery of professional services. Please read the available literature which is easily accessed through the many provincial, federal government and health authority websites, so you are familiar with COVID-19 and the ways and means to protect yourself and others. The College recognizes that online and/or teleconference methods of communication with your clients/claimants are available and we encourage you to consider using such methods if appropriate. Please follow your professional and employer’s protocols surrounding this pandemic. We wish you and your clients good health during this challenging situation.
